L'album segna un forte punto di incontro tra i Fairport e la Albion originale, del gruppo fanno ora parte ben nove musicisti se si escludono illustri ospiti quali Kate McGarrigle (voce in "Lay me Low" e in "House in the country") e Martin Carthy (chitarra in "Time to ring some changes and ragged heroes" e in "Gresford disaster"). Ric Sanders dei fairport compone la seconda parte di "Gresford disaster". Bello il disegno di copertina Josh Partridge.
