Jo Freya, Female Smuggler

The No Masters cooperative publishes the first true solo CD of this talented artist. Jo also produces the album with Neil Ferguson, who has recorded it at Leeds between March and May of 2008. This is an interesting work that gradually takes off and ends up fascinated with the beautiful "Edwin in the Lowlands Low" and the Breton traditional "Bois Tortu”.  The cover photo, in a very original “jail” style, was made by Casey Orr.

La cooperativa No Masters pubblica il primo vero CD solista di questa artista talentuosa, che è anche produttrice dell'album insieme a Neil Ferguson, che lo ha registrato a Leeds tra Marzo e Maggio del 2008. Si tratta di un lavoro interessante che decolla gradualmente e finisce per affascinare con la bellissima "Edwin In The Lowlands Low" e il tradizionale bretone "Bois Tortu". La fotografia di copertina, in un poco originale stile "carcerario", è opera di Casey Orr.
