"On Angel Wings" is a dramatised adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's lyrical re-telling of the Christmas story through the eyes of the youngest shepherd, who was left to look after the sheep when the others went to Bethlehem. Featuring the author as Narrator, Paul Chequer as the Shepherd and illustrated with historical carols sung by Coope Boyes & Simpson, Fi Fraser, Jo Freya and Georgina Boyes. . Even in this situation, the group offers a splendid demonstration of its vocal qualities. The evocative cover painting is made by Quentin Blake. The carols have been recorded at The Foundry Studio in Chesterfield by Paul Hopkinson and Mick Twelves and at No Masters’Studio by Jim Boyes.

"On Angel Wings" è un adattamento teatrale di una storia scritta da Michael Morpurgo, in essa il Natale è visto attraverso gli occhi diun pastore che si reca a Betlemme. Il narratore è Paul Chequer che nell'album illustra le carole eseguite da Coope, Boyes & Simpson, Fi Fraser, Jo Freya e Georgina Boyes. Anche in questa occasione il gruppo offre dimostrazione di splendide qualità vocali. Il suggestivo disegno di copertina è opera di Quentin Blake. Le carole sono state registrate al The Foundry di Chesterfield da Paul Hopkinson e Mick Twelves e al No Masters studio da Jim Boyes.
