Evening Star is the new group of Paul James, a natural continuation of the Scarp’s experience if we consider that the musicians are more or less the same (four of them were involved in Scarp in 1994). The album is very beautiful, technically sophisticated with excellent arrangements but also rich in content. The music is evocative, poignant, and energetic, as in "Wakeful Air" which is a symbolic composition in that sense. Very beautiful are the traditional tracks and the Mediterranean charm of "Radiator girl". The cover photo is by the same Paul James. Sincere compliments!

Evening Star è il nuovo gruppo prodotto da Paul James, naturale prosecuzione dell'esperienza Scarp se consideriamo che i musicisti sono più o meno gli stessi. L'album è molto bello, raffinato tecnicamente e negli arrangiamenti ma soprattutto ricco di contenuti. La musica è evocativa, struggente, energica, come in "Wakeful Air" che è una composizione simbolica in questo senso. Molti belli anche i "traditionals" e il fascino mediterraeo di "Radiator girl". La fotografia di copertina è dello stesso Paul james. Complimenti sinceri.
