Nel 1973 Tufty Swift, Derek Pearce e John Tams formano un trio dal nome Whistlig Rufus, con un melodeon e due banjo. Il loro desiderio di suonare folk inglese porta all'interno del gruppo John Kirkpatrick e Sue Harris: nasce così una band molto brillante e divertente; ne è testimonianza la fotografia di Bob Naylor in copertina.. La registrazione è stata effettuata nei Gateway Studios.
