Soig Siberil, Habask, CD Coop Breizh 2017 - CD119

Le nouvel album de Soig Siberil montre des solutions et des techniques toujours créatives et surprenantes. Le lien avec la tradition se manifeste dans certaines compositions telles que "Clark's favorite" (reel), "En passant par Pont-Pierre" (une suite de gavottes), "L'ous et le lié" (rond) et "La marche de Kerity" (marche). Mais le disque comprend également un hommage à Joni Mitchell (Both Sides Now), deux chansons de Ian Melrose (Prince Charlie / Seagull and the Seal) et une de Dylan Fowler (The Peaceful Journey), créées spécialement pour cet album. Quatre des douze compositions de l'album sont arrangées avec son ami guitariste Patrice Marzin, très brillant dans "Le chemin de Trégarantec". L'enregistrement a été réalisé par Patrice Marzin à Quimper en décembre 2016.

Soig Siberil's new album shows always creative and surprising solutions and techniques. The connection with tradition is obvious in some compositions such as "Clark's favorite" (reel), "En passant par Pont-Pierre" (a complete gavotte suite), "L’Oust et le Lié" (rond) and "La marche de Kérity" (march). But the album also presents a tribute to Joni Mitchell (Both Sides Now), two tunes of Ian Melrose (Prince Charlie / Seagull and the Seal) and one tune (specially created for this album) of Dylan Fowler (The Peaceful Journey). Four of the twelve tracks are arranged and played together by Soig and by Patrice Marzin, a friend guitarist. Patrice is very brilliant in "Le Chemin de Trégarantec". The album was recorded and mixed at Seniprod Studio in Quimper by Patrice Marzin in December 2016

Il legame con la tradizione si manifesta in alcune composizioni come "Clark's favorite" (reel), "En passant par Pont-Pierre" (una suite di gavotte), "L'ous et le lié" (rond) e "La marche de Kérity" (marche). Ma il disco presenta anche un omaggio a Joni Mitchell (Both Sides Now), due canzoni di Ian Melrose (Prince Charlie / Seagull and the Seal) e una di Dylan Fowler (The Peaceful Journey), creata appositamente per questo album. Quattro delle dodici composizioni dell'album sono arrangiate insieme all'amico chitarrista Patrice Marzin, molto brillante in "Le chemin de Trégarantec". La registrazione è stata eseguita da Patrice Marzin a Quimper nel Dicembre 2016.
