Per la carriera di Thompson questo è un cd davvero particolare: nella loro semplicità le composizioni diventano evocative e acquistano una intensità del tutto singolare anche attraverso il suono spoglio della sola chitarra acustica. Per rendersene conto vale la pena di ascoltare "The great Valerio" e "I'll regret it all in the morning" solo per fare due esempi. Molto caratteristica è anche la grafica del cd e del booklet (opera di Deesign). Le fotografie di Richard sono di Eric Hayes, Tom Kemp e dee Gennarelli.
