Half Hannikin is a composition included in the collection of dances called "The Compleat English Dancing Master" and published by John Playford in 1651. Starting with "Slow five", the arrangements are very beautiful and evocative. The group consists of Jon Swayne (High C Bagpipes), Lawrence Morgan-Anstee, Judith Rockliff and Anne-Marie Summers (G Bagpipes), David Faulkner, Chris Walshaw (Low Bagpipes C) and Terry Mann (percussion). The cover presents a beautiful etching of Bronwen Bradshaw, made after the group's live performance at Glastonbury in the church of St John's.
